'Raw sex' or bareback sex is fucking without condoms based on informed choice between all partners. Fucking raw can be awesome when you know your own level of risk and you’re feeling confident to fuck how you want.

Raw or bareback sex often brings up the risk of getting or passing on HIV:

'When I disclose [HIV], 20% or 30% of the time I might get a reaction like 'well I might leave it then'. That's really okay with me because I don't want to have sex with someone who is nervous or uncomfortable about my status. If someone says 'no', I don't really see that as rejection.
